The app still contains the features from original app: Virtual Gold Card, Scan capability to leant more about GNC product while in store, Deal of the Day, Store Locator, mobile shopping at m.gnc.com, and a Reminder functionality to remind when to take vitamins and supplements each day.
Additionally, we have added 3 new features. First is GNC WAY; WAY stands for Who Are You. This provides some very interesting facts about the body and provides news articles and associated products related to each fact. Sharing to facebook or twitter is a feature as well. Second is the Health Center. In this you'll be able to search for a supplement or health condition and learn everything you need to know. Hear about a new vitamin or herb on a popular daytime health show and want to learn more?
Check out the Health Center. Third is a Clearance section which shows all of the products on gnc.com that have special deals associated with them.
Finally, we've made improvements to the usability based on user feedback. You'll see a new home screen with over-sized buttons as well as our most used features (Stores, Scan, Shop) on bottom nav on every page. Favorites from original app have also been improved. The virtual Gold Card allows you to scan your Gold Card to capture the number, and you can leave your plastic card at home. Many enhancements were made to the Reminder. Don't have a reminder set? The app won't run the Reminder functionality until you do. But once you do you can turn on and off the reminder and save or send your history via email. Never forget to take your daily vitapak again!
